There are a few different types of joint mobilizations but the most common include slow oscillations and fast thrust techniques. The therapist will use a scale to determine which type of mobilization is appropriate, depending on the joint, how well the patient tolerates it and the goals of treatment.<\/p>\n
There are a few precautions and contraindications to joint mobilization such as tendon\/muscle injury, nerve damage and fracture.
